Mehala made a humble beginning in 1974 as a company providing services to the readymade garment manufacturers. We made a start by providing service to and dealing with indigenously manufactured machinery suitable for the hosiery industry. Today, we are a ?total solution provider? to the Indian apparel industry. Our activities began in Tirupur- India?s largest centre for cotton knitwear manufacturing and export. Currently, we have established our presence across the country. Our national sales and service centres are located in Bangalore, Calicut, Chennai, Colombo (Sri Lanka), Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Karur, Kolkatta, Ludhiana, Madurai, and Mumbai. Our product range covers CAD/CIM, sewing, unit production systems, embroidery, complete range of finishing equipment, packing, material handling systems, and so on. Our group enfolds allied businesses like spinning mills, garment factories, motor manufacturing, embroidery machine assembly, etc. We are the largest industrial sewing machine motor manufacturer in India and our engineering subsidiary undertakes production of many products for the apparel industry. We are Asia ?s first and the world?s second to produce copper rotor motors. The unique CR motors are CE and CSA certified. Our R & D department updates solutions for the market by interacting with customers and exploring the feasibility and effectiveness of the solutions it provides.We are one among the few India companies to be listed as suppliers for Trumac , Germany .?Orbito?, our brand of Computerized Multi-Head Embroidery machines, was launched by the Union Secretary of Textiles on 10th March 2006 at Coimbatore.
